Fiat Chrysler closes deal with startup Aurora for autonomous cars

AUTOMATIC CAR Software startup Aurora and auto giant Fiat Chrysler have announced an agreement this weekend focusing on the development of stand-alone commercial vehicle platforms. The information is from Reuters.

According to the news agency, the California startup said in a statement that the agreement in question will enable it to "offer a variety of solutions to strategic customers in logistics, transit and other use cases."

The values of the agreement between Aurora and Fiat Chrysler were not revealed.

It is worth noting that Aurora, based in Palo Alto, Calif., Already has partnerships with other major automotive companies, including Volkswagen AG and Hyundai Motor Co.
